I've been donating my paintings to Art For Tibet whenever I can. It's a great cause and the shows are always fun and inspiring.

On behalf of Honorary Committee Members Shepard Fairey, Professor Robert Thurman, Bruno Levy and Arpana Rayamajhi, Students for a Free Tibet (SFT) cordially invites you to the seventh annual Art for Tibet.
More than forty five contemporary artists, including Shepard Fairey, Matt Adnate, Rima Fujita, Steven Cogle, Ang Tsherin Sherpa, Tenzing Rigdol and Cey Adams, have joined together to support the Tibetan cause through an annual benefit event known as Art for Tibet. The live auction will take place on September 6, 2017 at 6pm-9pm, at Tibet House. Art for Tibet will bring together artists and activists to celebrate and commemorate a non-violent freedom struggle against oppression in Tibet that refuses to submit. This event is made possible with the support of Honorary Committee members Shephard Fairey, artist and model Arpana Rayamajhi, Professor Robert Thurman, and artist Bruno Levy.
For those not in New York, don’t worry! The Art for Tibet online auction will be live from August 27 – September 13, so you too, can join the celebration of art, culture, and resistance.
Students for a Free Tibet is determined to answer Tibetan calls for help through strategic and nonviolent campaigns aimed at promoting freedom and human rights in Tibet. Art for Tibet raises critical funds to enable SFT to carry out its urgent mission. Art for Tibet also supports Students for a Free Tibet’s campaign to bring attention to the persecution of Tibetan artists and scholars, while highlighting those artists’ continued defiance amidst Chinese government repression and censorship.
All are welcome to this event (suggestion donation $10 – no RSVP required)
All proceeds from the event will benefit Students for a Free Tibet (SFT), a 501(c)3 non-profit organization with international headquarters in New York. Through education, grassroots organizing, and non-violent direct action, SFT campaigns for the Tibetan people’s fundamental right to freedom and independence:www.studentsforafreetibet.org.
